Concert

So today Terri Sue and I bought tickets off of E-Bay to see New Kids On The Block. Don't be jealous. :) We are going Saturday night early to Ann Arbor to pick up the tickets from a U of M fan in Ann Arbor and then heading over to Auburn Hills for a night of fun. We of course are going to watch the Michigan/Michigan State game and then get ready to go see the concert at 8:00pm. The timing works out perfect so we can go and watch the game some where and then go see a group that we have wanted to see since I was in the 5th grade. I feel like a little kid all over again! Hopefully there will be pictures to put up here on the blog Sunday! We can't wait!!!

More Fun Times At The Barn

Last weekend we went back over to my Aunt and Uncles house in Jenison and hung out in the barn and had some more fun. We had a few friends that came over and my parents came over for a while and played some cards and pool. As you can see my cousin Mitch collects hub caps and they hang them up in the barn...pot hole season is coming up...so if you see one pick it up! hahaha

The House Divided

It's almost the end of October. To most people that means that Halloween is right around the corner and you have an excuse to eat candy. Not for us. The end of October means that the Michigan State Vs. Michigan game is right around the corner. As most of you know I am a HUGE MSU fan and Jason is a HUGE Michigan fan. It makes for a very fun day to say the least. Usually it ends up with me being mad for a week and Jason happy. I believe that this year will be different, but we will have to wait and see. We have lots of House Divided stuff. Last year our friends Sarah and Brian bought us these awesome pumpkins that have the school logos carved in them. LOVE THEM! The neighbors get a kick out of it and so do our co-workers. There are some pictures of the outside of our house and the different flags that we have. Sorry the pics. are kind of blurry!

Halloween

So last year a bunch of us friends got together and had a Halloween party downtown at Gardellas last year. Here were some of the costumes that people had. It was a great time. Each year we try and throw a big Halloween party and you MUST dress up or you aren't allowed in. There is usually a DJ and we will close down a place if it is at a bar and if we have it some place that doesn't have a closing time well Amie and her brother will close it down when the sun comes up! This year I don't think that we are having one...but hopefully next year will be a different story! Here are some of the pictures from last year!

Hanging Out In The Barn....

As most of you know My Super Cool Aunt Jodie & Super Cool Uncle Dan live in Jenison off of Cottonwood and have a nice old farm house and a nice barn that goes with it. We go there and watch football games, go snowmobiling, ride quads, play pool, play poker, have Bonn fires and have a few pops every now and then. We always have a good time with our cousins and Aunt and Uncle. They are huge Michigan fans (someone has to be) and well you all know that us Clark's are huge Michigan State fans. It's always a fun time! Here are a few pics. from about a month ago when we were over there watching Michigan Lose and Michigan State win. I am sure there will be more posts on the fun times we will be having over here during this amazing football season. (Well amazing for us State fans...it's about time)

Dani's Roller Skating Birthday Party

Last Saturday (October the 11th) Jason and I were invited to go Roller Skating up in Howard City of our Cousin's Birthday Part. Dani turned the big 11 and we all had a great time. I only fell once! My elbow is still bruised and hurting...but hey the things you do to make sure we take the fall instead of a child. The roller skates were heavy and so I traded them in for some Roller Blades. I did pretty darn good considering the last time I was at a roller skating ring was back in the 5th grade! I did leave the skin off of my elbow out there on the floor...but that's okay. I didn't break anything and we had a good time. We took Katie with us. It's kind of weird going to a child's birthday party and not having kids...so we just borrow one of our friends kids and take them with us! I know that Betty took some pics. of us out on the rink, so when I get them I will post those. Hope you had a Happy 11th Birthday Dani!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game....To Watch The Tigers Lose

Back in May for my sister's Birthday Jason, Warren (Terri Sue's boyfriend), Terri Sue and myself went to the Tiger's game down in Detroit. We spent the night in the hotel that you see behind us in the GM building. Very Very cool and it was a great time. I got to ride the People Mover, Jason got to gamble, we got to eat great food in Greek Town and laugh allot with each other. It was a blast even though the Tiger's lost. We had amazing seats about 3 rows behind the pull pen.

Here Kitty Kitty

Most of you know that Jason and I have our kitties that we adore. Gizmo our gray cat we got here 7 years ago this Halloween. I wanted to name him Gonzo and Jason wanted to name him something else but we agreed on Gizmo at Lizz and Chad's house on Halloween over spaghetti dinner 7 years ago. (Lizz I bet you are surprised I remembered that huh?) I will never forget that day bringing him over to my parents house and then home. He was our baby. I thought it would be nice to have a cat to cuddle with and to love, but he wouldn't cuddle with me...just Jason. I talked Jason into letting me get another cat after my birthday the following year. We had gone back to the Humane Society and picked this really cute kitten out. Jason let me name him, and I got to finally name something Izzo! So he is my baby. He cuddles with me when it's convenient for him. We love them to pieces and always know how to look cute and make us feel special. Izzo is a dark striped cat. Here are a few pics. for those of you who have never seen them.

End Of Summer Party

About a month ago our friend Marcie and her family asked us if we wanted to come to an end of summer party. We met up at Johnson Park for a fun filled morning and afternoon. The Piaz's sure know how to have a good time and know how to eat! They had hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, salads, pickles, cookies, pies...you name it they had it. It was a great time. We got to have a water balloon toss, play tug of war, potato sack race (which my husband kicked butt in) and other fun events. It was a great time had by all.
