Most of you know that I have my two amazing sisters. Betsy is the one who takes care of all of us and is the nurse in the ER at Metro Hospital. She is still going to school to pursue her RN. She has taken care of me like this past year with being on bed rest like no other. I always had a full glass of water, good food and someone to help me stay positive at a rough time in our life. She has a heart of gold and deserves nothing but the best that life has to offer. Terri Sue is the youngest. She is amazing. We are a little too much alike, but we are very close. We talk at least 5 times a day. I know...sounds weird, but we always have so much to say to one another. I call her everyday at the same time on my way to work and we chit chat about what happened the night before or what was going on that day. She is going to Davenport to get her Masters in accounting and financial stuff. She works for a place called Advantage Marketing and she just rec'd a great new job offer (that she is taking) within the company. For those of you who use to hang out with my sisters and myself when we were younger, you never would have thought that we would be close now. Now I don't know what I would do without them. No matter how mad we get at each other, we always find a way to work it out.
Sisters annoy, interfere, criticize. Indulge in monumental sulks, in huffs, in snide remarks. Borrow. Break. Monopolize the bathroom. Are always underfoot. But if catastrophe should strike, sisters are there. Defending you against all comers. ~Pam Brown
Sisters don't need words. They have perfected a language of snarls and smiles and frowns and winks - expressions of shocked surprise and incredulity and disbelief. Sniffs and snorts and gasps and sighs - that can undermine any tale you're telling. ~Pam Brown
